‘Who’s Who In America’ Honors Hal Kurfehs

BETHEL — Harold “Hal” Kurfehs of Scalzo Commercial Real Estate is listed in the 55th edition of Who’s Who in America for 2001.

The Marquis Who’s Who publication, which first appeared over 100 years ago, is recognized globally as the premier reference pertaining to notable living Americans.

As a measure of exclusivity, Mr Kurfehs is only one of a dozen biographies so honored in the Sate of Connecticut under Real Estate. Over the years, Mr Kurfehs’ biography has also appeared regularly in Who’s Who in Finance & Industry, Who’s Who in the World, and Who’s Who in the East.

Mr Kurfehs is currently a senior commercial broker with Scalzo Realty, Inc., in Bethel, handling commercial, investment, and industrial sales and leasing, as well as development. He was past president of the statewide Commercial Investment Division (CID), Connecticut Association of Realtors, was a state director of CID, and past president of the Greater Danbury CID. Locally, he is an elected member of the Brookfield Planning Commission.

Mr Kurfehs received his MBA degree from Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
