Donald Dale Miller, 87, died March 17 at Chester Sims Veterans Nursing Home in Panama City, Fla. He was born July 23, 1927, and was raised in Mount Lebanon, Penn.

His wife of 59 years, Beverly; three children, Keith, and his wife Debra, of Newtown, Jeffrey of Panama City Beach, Fla., and Sharon, and her husband Paul, of Redding; sister-in-law June Meyer of The Woodlands, Texas; and sister-in-law Vicki Miller of Georgia; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild survive Mr Miller.

Mr Miller served in the US Navy, toward the end of World War II. He then worked seven years for the US Steel Company, before joining Mobil Oil Company in 1957. He continued his education in night school, and graduated with a BA from Rider College in 1960. He retired from Exxon Mobil Company in 1982, after 25 years of service.

Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Falmouth, Mass., at a later date.
