To the Editor:

Eighteen of us participated these last four months to complete the Newtown Ambulance EMT class. I know I speak for my classmates as well as all those that have taken Steve Rambone’s class in the past. Steve presents one of the best EMT classes anywhere, and I mean anywhere. These live classroom teachings are well prepared and engaging. Steve’s thirty-four classes incorporates his forty-six years of service, his teaching skills, and enthusiasm in teaching this profession. For anyone thinking of serving their community, planning a healthcare career, or changing a life as a Good Samaritan, this is the EMT class to take. The Newtown Ambulance Team gets most all its new members from this class, making our Volunteer Ambulance Team one of Newtown’s gems; and Steve Rambone’s significance in teaching these EMT classes makes he and his class a gem within it. Thank You Steve! Next class starts in September, and sign-up starts in June.
