'Unity In Diversity' Programs Preview

Unity in Diversity is a cable program that can be viewed on Charter Vision (Charter Communications channel 192) each Monday at 12:30 pm and again on Wednesday at 5:30 pm. The program features interviews with prominent local pastors, rabbis, imams, and other spiritual leaders of a variety of local faith communities.

Host of the series is The Reverend Leo McIlrath, Dmin, coordinator of the CORPUS Connecticut Community. The Sandy Hook resident is also the ecumenical chaplain to The Lutheran Home of Southbury.

Programs for the coming weeks are as follows: July 18 and 20, Pastor Allen German, St Paul Lutheran Church, in Danbury; July 25 and 27, Reverend Ann Beams, former pastor, Valley Presbyterian Church, Brookfield; July 27 and 29, TBA; August 1 and 3, Reverend David Berthiaume, pastor, The Seventh Day Adventist Church, Bethel; August 8 and 10, Pastor Gregory Wismar, retired, Christ the King Lutheran Church, Newtown; August 15 and 17, The Reverend Laura Westby, interim pastor, Bethel United Church of Christ; August 22 and 24, Reverend Paul Beavers, director of pastoral care (retired), Danbury Hospital;   August 29 and 31, Father Luke Mihaly, pastor, Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church, Danbury; and September 5 and 7, "The Friends," Members of the Quaker Meeting House, in Brookfield.
