Leslie J. Gudgel Jancar, 64, of Monroe, beloved wife of Richard Jancar, died July 14 at her home, with her family by her side. Born on July 2, 1953, in Del Rio, Texas, she was a daughter of the late Marjean Lucille Morin Gudgel and LeRoy Morgan Gudge.

In addition to her beloved husband, Richard, of 43 years; her loving son, Erik Jancar and his fiancé Melissa Vitrella of Newtown; her sister, Sydney McKain of Pennsylvania; her mother-in-law, Emily Jancar, and her sister-in-law, Terry Jancar, both of Fairfield; as well as several nieces, nephews, and friends, survive her.

Ms Jancar enjoyed arts and crafts, photography, and tending to her garden. She was a loving and dedicated wife and mother. The unconditional love she provided will always continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her, and she will be truly missed.

Relatives and friends may greet the family on Tuesday, July 18, from 5 to 7 pm, at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.

A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, July 19, at noon, directly St John's Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Road, Monroe.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
