Eileen Frances Triber

Eileen Frances Triber, 66, of Florida and formerly of Sandy Hook, the beloved wife of Julius “Buddy” Triber, died July 25 in Cape Cod. Born in Bridgeport to Eileen (Cullen) and Joseph G. Knapick, she was an area resident until moving to Clearwater, Fla., ten years ago.

She retired from the Trumbull School System where she was an educator for 35 years. In her heart she was always a teacher.

Ms Triber lived in Florida, but loved to spend her summers in their home in East Sandwich on the Cape.

In addition to her beloved husband of 44 years, her son, Julian Triber; sisters, Jane Osborne, Nancy Giacomozzi, and Patricia Knapick; a brother, James Knapick; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews survive Ms Triber.

Funeral services will take place Wednesday, July 30, at 9 am, in the Adzima Funeral Home, 50 Paradise Green Place, Stratford, and at 10 am in St Catherine of Siena Church, 220 Shelton Road, Trumbull, with a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St John’s Cemetery, 2610 Nichols Avenue, Stratford. Friends may call Tuesday, July 29, from 4 to 7 pm.
