He is survived by his cherished sister, Zelda Goldberg of Newtown; his two devoted children; and by his adored grandchildren. Mr Brown was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean Goldstein Brown, in 2005.

He is survived by his cherished sister, Zelda Goldberg of Newtown; his two devoted children; and by his adored grandchildren. Mr Brown was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean Goldstein Brown, in 2005.

Mr Brown was an electrician in the Bridgeport area for more than 40 years, and was a volunteer at The Jewish Home for the Elderly in Fairfield. Along with his late wife, he was the former owner of Lordship Hardware. He was a member of Loyalty Lodge #58, IOOF for more than 50 years, and a member of the IBEW for 60 years. He was an avid New York Giants and Mets fan, and was an accomplished golfer and bowler.

Shiva was observed at the Leah and Phil Brown-Wilusz residence in Torrington. Services were August 8. Interment was at Loyalty Cemetery on Burroughs Road in Fairfield.
