Residents Needed To Fill Board Appointments

First Selectman Pat Llodra is calling on qualified or interested residents to consider filling several vacant posts on municipal boards or commissions. These are appointed, not elected, positions.

There are openings on the following panels:

*Hattertown Historic District has an alternate position available to a Democrat or Unaffiliated voter and a full board position available to any registered voter.

*Charter Communications Advisory Board has an open position for any registered voter. 

*Zoning Board of Appeals has a vacant alternate position available to a Republican or unaffiliated voter. 

*Conservation has one vacant position available to a democrat or unaffiliated voter and another vacant position available to any registered voter.

*Inland Wetlands Commission has a vacant position to any registered voter and a second vacancy available to either a Republican or unaffiliated voter.

*Economic Development Commission has a vacant position available to any registered voter, the last day to apply for this position is September 20 with an anticipated appointment date of October 7.
