Applications Available For 2007 UConn Master Gardener Classes

TORRINGTON — The University of Connecticut’s Cooperative Extension System is now accepting applications for its 2007 Master Gardner Program.

The objective of the program is to provide horticultural training to individuals who have an interest and experience in gardening, and who wishes to expand their knowledge base and share it with the public through community volunteerism.

Classes will be held in Stamford, Haddam, West Hartford, Bethel and Brooklyn.
