“Edutainer” Robert Hackenson is scheduled to present on drug use among students and social media safety at the Newtown Middle School auditorium November 13 at 6 pm.

Hackenson has spoken at schools, colleges, and companies across the country and is known for his interactive and engaging style of delivery.

Substances to be addressed in his program “Seeing Through The Vapor” include student use of vaping, tobacco, and marijuana.

NMS and Newtown High School students will have the opportunity to experience Hackenson’s program in an assembly during the school day.

The evening presentation for parents and guardians will provide talking points attendees can use to start a conversation with their teen later.

The program is open to the entire school community. Sponsors include Parent Connection, Newtown Prevention Council, and Newtown PTAs.
