Messages For The New Millennium

Several weeks ago, The Bee invited readers to put in their “2000 cents worth” for the Year 2000. Each “Message for the Millennium” was to be accompanied by a check of at least $20 made out to a local organization of the reader’s choice.  The following messages were received, and XXXXXX was raised for local charitable and civic causes.
