Sacred Heart Leadership Studies For The 21st Century

DANBURY — The emerging global society of the 21st Century will require practical and thoughtful development of specific leadership skills at work and throughout every community. Sacred Heart’s University College offers an accelerated degree program called LEADS, Leadership Education for Adults, for those interested in developing their own leadership skills.

Simply put, Leadership Studies is about getting things done in an ethical, collaborative way. Companies, large and small, know that success in today’s global marketplace demands innovative leadership skills. Managing this complex environment requires training in leadership and the LEADS program from University College is what this is all about. LEADS prepares students to be good leaders.

The LEADS program is reaching out regionally to employers throughout the area to help facilitate the corporate connection. Students from companies like Pitney Bowes, People’s Bank, Sikorsky Aircraft, Bridgeport Hospital and SNET among others have students enrolled in these programs. Area employers interested in hosting an introductory program explaining the value of LEADS education for their employees are encouraged to contact Dr Garth Katner, 203/396-8064, or Tricia Young, 203/396-8066, at Sacred Heart University.
