One of the most notable pieces of construction in Newtown in 2020 was the rise of the new Newtown Police Department headquarters at 191 South Main Street.

Formerly the administrative complex for Taunton Press, the vacated facility was extensively renovated to provide the much needed space and update for the local police force, which had been housed at 3 Main Street since the 1970s.

From deconstructed piles of rubble to a building of beauty, Consigli Construction Company has built a new police headquarters that will better serve the community for decades to come.
