NEW YORK CITY â The 13th annual Outsider Art Fair will take place January 28â30, with a preview on Thursday, January 27, 6 to 9 pm.
Show hours will be Friday, noon to 8 pm; Saturday, 11 am to 8 pm; and Sunday, 11 am to 7 pm, at the Puck Building, Houston and Lafayette streets, SoHo.
The fair is the only fine art fair devoted exclusively to outsider, art brut, primitive, visionary and intuitive art, and features 33 international dealers.
The show is the main event of Outsider Art Week, presented by the American Folk Art Museum. Visitors may take part in special events, such as a field trip, lectures, special exhibitions, and Uncommon Artists XIII, a symposium featuring Jane Livingston, Susan C. Larsen, Edward Gomez and John Turner. New this year, the museum will host an exhibition from its collection at the fair. For information about Outsider Art Week, 212-265-1040, ext 102.
