Moss Mountain Music will launch a Winter Concert Series on Saturday, January 9, from 7 to 9 pm, at The Stone Barn Stage and Cafe.

The BluesyLand Band is kicking off the series and includes Newtown residents Dean Snellback, John Sullivan and Tim Gilbert, along with Doug Bolin of Bethel and Paul Cochrane of Pawling, N.Y. The newly staged live music venue is at Sticks and Stones Farm, 201 Huntington Road in Newtown.

There is a $10 cover charge. Carpooling is suggested, and drivers of full cars will get in for free.

This is a BYOB event. Beverages, desserts and snacks will be available.
