NEW HOPE, PENN. â Celebrating 18 years of a Bucks County tradition, the New Hope Winter Antiques Show will take place January 15 and 16 at the Eagle Fire Hall. One of Mancuso Show Managementâs longest running shows, it has maintained many quality dealers throughout the years.

Dealers from throughout the East Coast will present in room settings a wide variety of high-end antiques, including country, high country and formal furniture, paintings, textiles, jewelry, rugs and accessories.

Among the exhibitors there are many who are longstanding at this event, including Sue Murphy Antiques of Milford, N.J.; Windles Antiques of Wilmington, Del.; Malchione Sporting Collectibles, Kennett Square, Penn.; Roger Tunis Fine Art, Berwyn, Penn.; and, new to this yearâs show, David Pownell Willis of Plainfield, N.J., to name just a few.

The show is traditionally held on the Martin Luther King holiday weekend, allowing for an extended getaway to historic Bucks County.

A lot of things have changed in Sandy Hook shopping area. The old bridge was no longer needed, the town helped create parking , brick sidewalks and classic street lights were added, and zoning was adjusted to add housing. Spending money on a bridge from nowhere makes no sense, focus on things that will add to the viability of the Sandy Hook Center.

I was the recipient of such a invasion of my privacy when my daughter was visiting her boyfriend in Waterbury. They tried to get me to pay them taxes instead of Newtown. They were rude, offensive and threatening and I had to call the mayor of Waterbury to finally get it cleared up after being threatened. It was a long drawn out process to get this overturned. Are we that broke that we have to turn our residents over to these mercenaries? This is beyond belief. How dare you hire these rent a cops to harass and threaten us?

Thanks for the quote, many people don’t realize Newtown does not exist in a silo and we have peers to benchmark against. For example Trumbull also spends less per student and outperforms us. ALL students benefit from consistent policies and quality education. Affordability matters, especially to less affluent families which tend to skew more heavily minority based on census data.
