The Alpaca Gnomes is a vibrant, stomp-and-groove, seven-piece original rock-folk jam band from Bridgeport. The Gnomes ensemble — currently featuring violin, electric and acoustic guitar, bass, drums, sax, and percussion — will make its way to 45 Main Street this month to perform the finale of the 2020-21 Colonial Auto Group concert series.

The band is scheduled to headline at Edmond Town Hall Theatre on Saturday, January 29. Tickets are $30 for the balcony area, $35 for orchestra seating, and available through edmondtownhall.org or by calling 203-270-4285.

Doors and the box office will open at 6, and the performance will begin at 7 pm. Beer, wine, and concessions will be sold during the concert.

The town hall will require all attendees to wear a mask.

Formed in February 2011 in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, the eclectic style of The Alpaca Gnomes has allowed the band to appear on a multitude of bills with varied acts and musical genres, such as Living Colour, Blues Traveler, Twiddle, DJ Logic, Funky Meters, Anders Osbourne, Railroad Earth, The Drifters, The Tokens, and Rick Derringer, to name just a few. The Gnomes have performed public and private events, festivals, and venues across the tri-state area.

The January 29 show in Newtown will be the band’s first of the new year.
