Carla Neggers At Waldenbooks

SOUTHBURY — Romance writer Carla Neggers will be signing copies of her latest novel, The Carriage House, just in time for Valentine’s Day on Sat., Feb. 10, from 3 to 5 pm, at Waldenbooks in Southbury Plaza.

Ms Neggers finished writing her first book and mailed it off the an agent four months after her first child was born. She was 24 years old and so broke that she had to rent a typewriter.

The agent took her on, the book sold, and since then Ms Neggers had become known for her wit, humor and fast-paced stories. Her work regularly appear on bestseller lists and have been translated into more than two dozen languages.

A native New Englander, Ms Neggers lives in Vermont with her husband and two children.
