SOUTHBURY — On Monday, February 14, at 7:30 pm, tenor and pianist Tom Brand will perform sentimental ballads, traditional love songs and Broadway show tunes in celebration of Valentine’s Day at East Hill Woods.

Mr Brand holds a master’s degree in choral conducting, a bachelor’s degree in music from Yale University and is an alumnus of the American Boychoir School. He is also the founder and music director of the Elm City Girls Choir, a community-based performance and music education program that serves over 100 girls in greater New Haven.

Mr Brand currently sings in a number of professional vocal ensembles, including CONCORA, Phoenix, and the Schola Cantorum of Saint Gregory Society. He is also organist and choirmaster of St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Wallingford, and is president and founder of Senior Songs, an organization that specializes in providing musical entertainment for senior citizens.
