A New Healing Arts Community

In Brookfield

BROOKFIELD — A group of complementary and alternative wellness practitioners have gathered to form a new enterprise. The Healing Arts Community of Connecticut will offer a centralized location for people interested in seeking different approaches for gaining and maintaining health and well-being.

The Healing Arts Community of Connecticut (HACCT), 777 Federal Road, is dedicated to offering both ancient and modern healing techniques that can dramatically advance individual and societal wellness.

HACCT will educate and support those interested through individual sessions as well as group workshops and classes on hundreds of wellness topics including nutrition, birthing and fertility, pain management, shamanism, feng shui, medication, relationship counseling, financial health, and others.

Additionally, HACCT will be home to the Northern Fairfield/Litchfield County Chapter of the Holistic Moms Network, a national organization whose members are dedicated to providing their children with a physical, psychological, and spiritual environment that will nourish them and allow them to reach their greatest potential.

“We are a nexus of resources and information for those seeking a different approach to their health, as well as those wishing to enhance their standard medical care,” says Sharona Fein, HACCT director. “We have medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, and osteopaths as associates, as well as a practitioners of other Eastern, Western, and ancient healing techniques. Our practitioners come from all over Western Connecticut, and bring with them a great variety of skills, knowledge and traditions. The best health care requires a fusion of all we know as human beings, technological, holistic, and spiritual. For our practitioners we offer an opportunity to expand the depth and breadth of our healing abilities through our networking and association, so that as a group we can better serve the public.”

Ms Fein is a certified hypnotherapist, hypnoBirthing childbirth educator, and spiritual teacher, formerly practicing in New Milford.

The Healing Arts Community of Connecticut will be holding a Grand Opening Celebration featuring mini healing sessions, prize giveaways, free yoga classes, and more on February 6 from 10 am to 4 pm. For more information visit the website www.HACCT.org or call 775-8332.
