LEGAL NOTICENOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that theTown of Newtown Planning and Zoning Commission will hold publichearings commencing at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 18, 2021 viaZoom regarding the following applications:

Application 21.02 by the Townof Newtown Land Use Agency, for a Text Amendment to§7.03.120-121 of the Town of Newtown Zoning Regulations, so asto increase the maximum allowed height of industrial buildings to 45feet, as demonstrated on documents submitted to the Land Use Agency1/25/21.

Application 21.03 by the Townof Newtown Land Use Agency, for a Text Amendment to§3.01.331-333 of the Town of Newtown Zoning Regulations, so asto (1) eliminate the seven year requirement for detached accessoryapartments, (2) eliminate the lot size requirement for detachedaccessory apartments, (3) increase the detached accessory apartmentmaximum square footage from 800 to 1,000, and (4) convert detachedaccessory apartments from Special Exception Use to Accessory Use, asdemonstrated on documents submitted to the Land Use Agency 1/26/21.
