Dr Joshua K. Berry, ND

Loving Husband, Father, Son, And Physician

Joshua K. Berry, ND, 37, of Bethlehem, died peacefully February 2, surrounded by his family at his home.

He was born in his beloved Oregon, son of Richard Berry and Caroline Knox. He migrated to Connecticut to teach at the University of Bridgeport, College of Naturopathic Medicine, and to begin his family practice, Hawleyville Naturopathic Medical Center, LLC, in the Hawleyville section of Newtown.

Dr Berry devoted his life to helping others, as a physician, a college professor, and in the numerous coaching positions for which he volunteered. Dr Berry had a passion and gift for working with children. He believed all children, regardless of talent, could succeed if given the opportunity. He devoted himself to sharing this vision with all he met, especially his sons, Jonas and Javas .

An ardent guitarist/singer/songwriter, Dr Berry had a passion for music, and left a legacy of music-making and appreciation to his sons. His compassion, warm smile, and gentle demeanor endeared him to all.

A celebration of life, music, and love is scheduled for Friday, February 6, at 6 pm, at 8 Mile Brook, 522 Heritage Road, Southbury. All are welcome to celebrate. Children and families are encouraged to attend.
