Filan Law Office Dribblers vs Hurricanes: The Dribblers offensive leaders were Kaley Meisenheir and Hallie Filan, the defensive players were Karsen Pirone and Kristina Balough. The Hurricane offensive players were Laura Augenbrau and Katie Ryan, the defensive players were Cecilia Floros and Kate Petersen.

Candy Girls vs Fireballs: The Candy Girls offensive players were Annabell Terry and Cameron Powers, the defensive players were Emma Archieri and Meghan LeBlanc. The Fireball offensive players were Grace McEarney and Kaitlin King, the defensive players were Jillian Carrino and Katie Dirga.

Cavaliers vs Dunkin Daisies: The Cavaliers offensive players were Sarah Tressler and Shauna Tucher, the defensive players were Cali Ryder and Olivia Buchler. The Dunkin Daisies offensive players were Grace Eurell and Taylor McPadden, the defensive players were Kelsey Pearson and Siobhan Reidy.

Bantams

Badgers 16, Carminuccio’s Huskies 8: The Badgers were led offensively by Tess Davenport with 8 points while Kendra Saunders, Ally Tolson, Ashley Solomon and Carly Swierbut hit big baskets. Chloe Bigwarfe played tough defense and Nathalie Schickendantz again owned the boards for Big Red. For the Huskies, Brianna Lovely and Anna Cartelli shared high scorer honors and Claire Dubois was assist leader. On the defensive side, Linda Bomova and Carolina Stubbs made their presence known.

Law Offices of Gail Matthews Pink Panthers 16, Exploding Oreos 12: The Pink Panthers remain unbeaten and in first place after Saturday’s exciting contest at Hawley. Panthers Alison Kelleher and Jackie Matthews combined for 10 points, while Jenna Gonski, Nicki DaPra, and Veronica Vodola also contributed offensively. The Cats’ ferocious defense was led by Sonia Ahmmaripour and Angela Vodola. For the Oreos, Jaclyn Moccio and Jenna Lavelle led their team in scoring with help from speedy Sienna Cummings and Heather Stroili. On defense, Sarah Widmann and Casey McLean played aggressively to help keep their team in the game.

Grades 5-6

Zephry Lock Orange Crush 30, The Flash 13: Zephry Lock was led by Ashley Lynch with 7 baskets supported by Erin Tressler with 4 points and Maddy Cole adding 6. The Flash played tough against the taller Orange Crush, playing aggressive defense led by Julia Anderson and Cathy Hyeon in the paint and Abbie Pearson outside. Caitlyn Child held her own in the low post, with Katie Basset hustling throughout the game. Olivia Holman led the offensive charge sharing duties at point with Allie Indelicato. Claire Swanson and Kaitlyn Hull led the team in rebounds.

Pampered Chef Purple Thunder 21 Rankin Sports Pink Panthers 18: The Purple Thunder held off a tough Pink Panther squad to squeak out a 21-18 victory. Olivia Hamula led the Thunder offensive with 7 points. Corey Mangold, Ava Petrellese and Kayla Ward scored 4 points apiece with Tessa Leon-Gambetta adding a bucket to round out the Thunder offense. Sarah Brittin and Danielle Powell were tough on defense throughout the game. Outstanding game by Caroline Caporale scoring 6 for the Pink Panthers, followed by Elizabeth Weisgerber and Simone Afriyie both with 4, Hannah Luby and Sarah Lindell with 2 each.

Crazy Fruits 19 Rankin Sports Pink Panthers 12: For the Crazy Fruits, Teresa Forlenzo, Emily Renjalin, and Tegan Dougherty led the scoring attack, while Sarah Cizmazia played tenacious defense. The Pink Panthers were led by Katie McCabe, Catherine Shaw, Isabel Shaw, and Alex Sabillon.

The Storm 34, 56ers 19: The Storm moved into first place with an impressive win over the 56ers by the score of 34-19. With the score 20-16 entering the fourth quarter, The Storm once again turned up the defensive pressure with their trademark full court, trapping defense. The defensive intensity proved to be the difference as The Storm went on a quick 8-0 run over the first two minutes of the period to open a commanding lead. Carly Kreshpan (19 points and 12 rebounds) continued her dominating play, while Megan Kelleher chipped in 6 points and 8 rebounds. Kayla O’Sullivan added three points and had several pinpoint passes to set her teammates up on offense. Madison Findley had her best game of the season as she had to step in and take on much of the point guard duties. Madison scored 4 points and showed off her ball handling skills as she was able to dribble thru the 56ers pressure defense. The Storm are now 8-1 on the season. Top scorer for the 56ers was Alex Futterman with 9 points. Sarah Dowling got 6 points. Dani Otera and Ashleigh Shaw each contributed two. Tremendous rebounding from Futterman, Otera, Shaw and Dowling kept the Storm from running away with the game. Perimeter defenders Allie Reczek and Rachel D’Ausilio managed to break up some of the Storm’s offensive plays. In the final analysis, Carly Kreshpan of the Storm was so good, that her score alone was enough to tie the offensive efforts of the 56ers.

Colonical Chiropractic Dr Schmid Mighty Mustangs 28, Lady Hawks 6: Natalie Shaker led the way with 10 points and 8 rebounds as the Mighty Mustangs won their sixth game of the season. Jenna Ciavara and Ashley Santore combined for another 10 points and 10 rebounds. Casey Muckell, Jordan Williams, Lauren King, and Rebecca Gavel excelled on the defensive side of the court racking up numerous steals and making great hard-nosed defensive plays all game long. The Lady Hawks’ Sydney Flint scored 4 points to lead the team, while Rachel O’Grady led the offense with 3 assists. Nicole Frascatore anchored the defense with 7 defensive rebounds and Abigail Pereira led the team with 3 steals.

Grade 6

Newtown 32, Brookfield 21: Newtown used a 9-2 run at the start of the third quarter to put this one away. A balanced scoring attack was led by Megan Goyda with 7 and Meghan Doyle with 6 points. Hailey Conrad and Nikki Zaccaro each scored 5, while Olyvia Shaw and Jess Maturo had 4 apiece. Goyda and Zaccaro crashed the boards for 8 rebounds each, followed by Kamdynn Moroney with 7 and Jillian Pieretti with 6. Shaw led the defense with 7 steals, Doyle had 6, and Cassidy Datin 5. Colleen McCarthy, Zaccaro, and Doyle were the assist leaders for the game.

Grades 7-8

One Eyed Pig BBQ Jayhawks 40, Connecticut Suns 38: The impressive speed and defensive talent of Nicole Russo paired with Emma Horne proved difficult for the Suns to move the ball with their usual finesse and confidence. By the end of the first quarter, Lilly Fulmer, Emily Montoya, Russo, and Horne had each scored field goals keeping the Suns to one point from the foul line shot by Aileen Decker. The Jayhawks’ Jessica Mullany scored her first basket in the second quarter. Fulmer and Russo added field goals and Russo sank a free throw to put another 7 points on. Suns sharp shooter Brittany Gonzales scored 2 points and Emily Riley started her rally with two field goals before the half was over.

Mullany broke out in the third quarter, scoring three field goals and a foul shot. Horne added to her total with two more baskets, while Anna Buzzanca and Russo both put up two pointers. Meanwhile, the Suns struggled with nine missed foul shots, but Riley continued her run with three field goals and Williams added a basket. With the game under “blowout” rules, the Jayhawks were forced to remove the full court press just when the Suns came roaring to life. Jayhawks’ Chelsea Piccirillo scored 4 points and Fulmer scored 2 more points. With a swarming defense of their own, the Suns managed to cut the 15-point deficit to 3 points with only seconds remaining. The Suns set up the play and Emily Riley finished it, making a 3-point basket to send the game into overtime. Decker and Gonzalez scored 2 points each and Riley rang up and amazing 18 points in the fourth quarter.

In overtime, the Gonzalez scored 2 points against the revived Jayhawk defense. Jayhawks’ Mullany and Horne secured the win with two pointers. Mullany scored 13 points, Horne scored 8 points, Lilly Fulmer scored 6 points, Nicole Russo scored 5 points, Chelsea Piccirillo scored 4 points, Anna Buzzanca and Emily Montoya each scored 2. Stefanie Carr led assists and filled the holes on defense. Joanna Vodola worked the post and came away with several key rebounds. Fulmer owns the rebounding title for the Jayhawks. For the Connecticut Suns, Emily Riley scored 24 points. Jessica Shairer earned defensive star. Sharpshooter Brittany Gonzales with 6 points and Aileen Decker led the Suns with 5 rebounds.

Boys

Grade 2

Fruit Bowl Part II — Oranges vs Burnt Bananas: The Bananas and the Oranges mixed it up Saturday in the battle of the fruit. Jack Street and Nuke Hannan ran the powerful offense with precision for the Bananas. Ben Paley and Karl Miller were defense stars while Jake “the snake” Mailloux and Noah Dinallo passed the ball unselfishly. Grant Baker and Trevor “Little Barkley” Jacozzi ruled the boards. Pistol Pete Petersen was a lightning rod with seven steals. The Oranges put on a full court squeeze against the Burnt Bananas. The offense was led by Connor Smith, Jonathan Taylor, and CJ Cuomo. Numerous steals and hardnosed rebounding was provide by Jeff Garrity, Aidan Finnegan, and Drew Poseno. The entire Burnt Banana team played a great overall game. Their full court game was very appealing.

 

Maroon Magic vs Blue Ice: Maroon Magic: The boys played their first full game of full court basketball and really enjoyed it. All of the boys showed good hustle up and down the floor with Charlie Eppers, James Ciaramello, and Ryan Wagnblas doing a good job bringing the ball up the court. Matt Sortino, Emmett Dowd, and Matt Weisgerber also played hard on defense against a strong opponent. The practices will now shift its focus on five boys on the floor at once working together as a team and ball movement. There was ice on the ground, and ice coming from the sky, and the Blue Ice came to play some hoops. The team played an all-around good game led by CJ Demers, Jake Dandrea, and Steven Cotton who all contributed on the defensive side with several steals and rebounds, and on the offensive side with several baskets layups and jump shots. Nick Sabillon, Miller Tetreault, and Arav Dave clamped down on their opponents on D, and honed their ball handling skills by taking turns at the point guard position, each dishing out several assists.

 

Lightning vs Nighthawks: The Lightning enjoyed the first official 5 on 5, full court game of their young careers. Michael Haddick provided the excitement of the day as he brought the crowd to its feet at the end of the first half. With time winding down, Michael grabbed a rebound and raced up court. With one second left, he launched a half court shot that went in at the buzzer. Ryder Palumbo, Nicholas Fischer, and Logan McAloon had several great drives to the basket and Sean O’Sullivan continued his fierce defense by grabbing many steals and fighting for every lose ball. Daniel Jaeger also had many steals as he played tremendous on the ball defense. Clayton Kunzweiler, Connor Mandarano, James Malin, Devon Herbstman, and Andrew Bazura led the offensive attack for the Nighthawks making some great shots and great passes. Matthew Williams, Brandon Akbas, Gus Coffey, Zach Kugler, and Chris Shaker were just as impressive on the defensive end pulling down many rebounds and making some great defensive stops.

Grade 3

Mavericks 20, Schmidt’s Dentistry 19 (Double OT): The Mavericks had a thrilling double overtime victory on Sunday. Joey Rios made a key free throw in double overtime to seal the victory. The Mavs were led on offense by Joey Rios, Nick Kalra, Jack Mulligan, Kyle Sullivan, Kyle Good, and Josh Taylor. The defense was led by Dillon Robinson, Luke Hanaan, Jack Kuligowski, Jack Lydon, Liam Murphy, and Keenan Murphy.

Wilcats

Offensive leaders: Chris Frascatore, Will Archiere, Atilla Sepkin, Luke Wellman.

Defensive leaders: Kyle Good, Aidan Ventresca, Jacob Riley, Devin O’Connell, Hunter Kirkman.

Hornets

Offense: Tey Hazard, William Swift, Shaine Luzietti, Adam Bowditch.

Defense: Max Hanson, Kyle Godfrey, Chris Beal.

Newtown Road Race Blue Racers:

Grade 5

Celtics 36, Kia-Mazda of Old Saybrook Nighthawks 29: An exciting back and forth game was played this past weekend between the Celtics and Nighthawks. Each team took turns taking the lead during the first three quarters of play, and the Nighthawks were leading going into the fourth. The Celtics played good defense to keep the score close, but during the fourth quarter they turned it up a notch (as they have all year) and got key steals and turnovers to recover the lead against their mighty opponent. Leading the C’s defense was Michael (The Flash) Narducci and Owen (The Rebounder) Rahr, who helped bottle up the speedy Nighthawk guards, especially late in the game. Leading the Celtics offense were The Harper siblings, both “Never Nervous” Nick and “Jump Shot” Josh, who shared point guard responsibility in running the Celtics fast breaks, half court sets, and in-bound plays. The twin brother’s leadership kept the Celtics calm and helped the team regain the lead and seal the victory. Joshua Dunn pumped in 13 for the Nighthawks. Tommy Skrelja and Landon Sock also scored often. Will Stenz and Christian Lestic played strong defense keeping the game close until late. 

Heat 32, Black Knights 18: The Heat broke out to an early 12-0 lead and held on to defeat the talented Black Knights. While playing great defense, the Heat also had a balanced scoring attack. Big Ryan Williams, Aidan Ford, Ryan “Sharpshooter” Mailloux, Matt Sadowski and Jamie “The Hammer” Hobar all contributed 6 points. Kai Toomey finished the Heat scoring with two points and added 3 rebounds and 5 steals. The tight Heat defense was led by Liam Jones with 3 steals and Jamie Hobar with 4 rebounds and 7 steals. The Black Knights were led by Dylan Champagne with 6 points, 4 steals and 2 rebounds. Cameron Champagne had 4 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and had 4 steals earning him the defensive player of the game for the Knights. Kent Mullen grabbed 3 rebounds and had 4 points. Dwyer Grimes was 2-for-3 shooting for 4 points as well. Dwyer also had 3 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 rebounds in the game earning him the Black Knights’ offensive player of the game. John Payne had 4 rebounds.

Red Bulls 37, Scorpions 22: The Scorpions could not overcome a tough Red Bull team but didn’t give up and fought back to the end. They were led offensively by Mark Hall (12 points) and Greg Brissette (6 points). Defensively, the Scorpions were led by Doug Carriero with 4 steals until he fouled out late in the game. Connor DiNallo and Wyatt Moyers also played well defensively. Ben Terry again led the Scorpions in rebounding and was helped by Alex Street. Mark Hall played a great all around game, especially his long range jumpers. Ryan Patrick and Ethan Aug led the Red Bulls offensive attack each scoring double digits. Ethan also pulled down an amazing 17 rebounds for the second straight game. Ryan also had a strong game at point guard controlling most of the game.  Ben Drew and Evan Landgrebe came out of the gate firing, Kyle Gaynor nailed a 15 footer and Ben Harrison played well defensively.  Justin Woodard’s 3 steals and 6 rebounds provided a big boost for the Red Bulls in the fourth. The Red Bulls played very well as a team and look forward to this weeks match up with the fist place Celtics.

Dynamite 22, Hornets 19: The Dynamite escaped the sting of the Hornets squeaking a out a late win led by Robert Murray’s eight points and Matt Principi’s 6. In a tightly fought contest the Hornets fought tough to keep the game within reach. Liam Deakin (player of the week) and Jackson Dooley led the Hornets offense and Marc Carlson and Jack Murray played excellent defense for the Hornets to slow down a strong Dynamite team.

Tornadoes 33, Huskies 18: The Tornadoes used balanced scoring from 6 different players to move to 7-1 on the season.  Eugene Citrano scored 5 of his 9 points and Tristan Crone added 4 of his 6 points in the first quarter as the Tornadoes grabbed a quick 9-0 lead.  Jake Pirone had a big second quarter with 5 points while Citrano added 4 and Crone drilled a 15 foot jumper.  Matthew Menousek and Jack Bittman grabbed key rebounds as the Tornadoes extended their lead to 20-8 at the half.  In the third period, Owen Walsh and Ken Malin paced the Tornadoes with 3 and 2 points, respectively while Rhett Saunders and Jack Buchler pounded the glass for the Tornadoes, opening a 25-12 lead after three.  In the fourth, Adam Wolff converted a three point play and tallied 5 for the period while Pirone added 3 of his 8 points as the Tornadoes coasted home for the win. Christian Adam led the Huskies with 8 points. Brendan O’Hara also had a strong game making shots from outside the box on multiple occasions. Andrew Buzzi and Tom Fitzgerald also played well for the Huskies.

Grade 6

Rankin Sports Thunder 38, The Grasshoppers 26: A short-handed Thunder hustled for the win, led by an MVP performance from Kevin Arther who contributed across the floor with 7 points, 6 steals, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds. The offense was anchored with 17 points from Justin Dunn, and Eric Mockovac and Ryan Marusi were tough underneath. Billy Kase’s hustle resulted in several steals and fast break opportunities. On Friday night, Nick Venezia took the opening tip in for a layup for the third time in four games and the Grasshoppers went on to lead at halftime 13-11. Venezia finished with 7 points including 1 for 2 from the free throw line and also added an assist. Owen McInerney shot .500 for the floor, hitting 5 of 10 shots, earning him the Grasshoppers offensive player of the game. Ryan Norton had 4 points as did Ryan Brello. Brello also stole the ball five times, all in the fourth quarter during a swarming full-court press. He also had 3 rebounds in the game. Patrick Godino had 2 assists and 2 points. Connor Brennan was excellent on defense frustrating the Thunder all night. His play earned Connor the Grasshoppers’ defensive player of the game.

The Bulldogs 43, Addessi Golden Ringers 33: The Bulldogs trailed in the second and third quarters but came back in the fourth quarter with a strong offensive attach to win. This was a complete team effort. The offense was led by Matthew Bucci with 18 points and Hunter Cobb with 13. Thomas Stanczyk and Brandon Pavlicek added 4 each, and Evan Kohlsaat, Adam Beckett added 2 each. The defense was led by Max Ames who had several steals and key rebounds; Andrew Janco and Alex Dunleavy also made key steals and rebounds keeping the ball away from the Ringers.

The Hershey Kisses 36, Addessi Golden Ringers 35: The Hershey kisses won a thriller behind a late steal and basket from Steven Moccio (10 points, 7 assists, 6 rebounds, and 8 steals) in the closing seconds. Peter DeBona controlled the paint with 18 points, and Will Huegi chipped in 4 points, 4 assists, 4 steals, while displaying a tremendous floor presence. Robert Lombardo, Nick Lombardo, Elliott Bennett, Aaron Gershon, Philipp Coffey, and Greg Trimarchi all contributed to the victory with strong rebounding and defensive efforts.

The Grasshoppers 34, The Red Storm 32: After leading 33-27 with just over a minute to play Matt Kretz hit a clutch free throw with five seconds left in the game, securing the Grasshoppers first win of the season 34-32. Matt finished with 3 points, had 2 rebounds and a blocked shot. The Grasshoppers’ offensive player of the game was Owen McInerney who was 6 for 9 from the field and scored 14 points in the game, including 2 for 4 from the charity stripe. Owen hit a buzzer beater at the end of the third quarter which would have counted for 3 points if the rules had allowed it. He also dished out a pair of assists and had a pair of steals. Nicholas Venezia scored 5 points and grabbed 3 rebounds and 4 steals earning him the ‘Hoppers defensive player of the game. Jack Riley had 4 points and snapped a personal 20-game losing streak stretching back into the fall baseball season. Ryan Norton added 2 more, as did Bradley Capeci. Capeci and Bradley Wiseman had 3 steals each in the game and Wiseman led the Grasshoppers with 6 rebounds. The red storm were led in scoring by Joe Palanzo with 10 points and 4 blocked shots. Jack palermo had a strong game adding 6 points and 6 rebounds. Matt Frazzetta contributed 4 points and was aggressive under the basket getting 4 offensive rebounds. Bryan silk and Jacob Meenan played strong defense an both had multiple steals.

The Bulldogs 36, The Grasshoppers 31: The Bulldogs offensive attach was led by Evan Kohlsaat with 10 points, who also had 3 rebounds and 1 steal, and Adam Beckett with 9 points 1 rebound and 7 steals. Adding to the offense was Matthew Bucci who also had 9 points and 2 rebounds, Alex Dunleavy with 8 points and 3 rebounds and 3 steals, and Brandon Pavlicek with 2 points and 1 rebound. The dog’s defense was pulled by Max Ames with 3 rebounds and 2 steals, Andrew Janco with 2 rebounds and 2 steals, and Thomas Stanczyk with 2 rebounds and heads-up key blocking throughout the game.

In the second game of the morning double-header Owen McInerney led the Grasshoppers in scoring once again with 9 points. He was 4 for 11 from the hardwood and 1 for 2 from the free throw line. Ryan Brello scored 8 points after going 4 for 6 from the floor and had an assist in the game giving him the Grasshoppers’ offensive player of the game award. Ryan Norton had 4 points. Matt Kretz, Jack Riley, Nicholas Venezia, Bradley Capeci ,and Patrick Godino each scored a basket in the game. Riley added 2 rebounds and 3 steals and was awarded the Grasshoppers’ defensive player of the game for his efforts. Connor Brennan was strong defensively again, including a blocked shot.

Rankin Sports Thunder 36, Newtown Mystery 40: In an all-out gutsy hard-fought game by both teams where the lead never got more than 3 points until late in the fourth quarter, The Mystery was able to get the victory led by Jack Phelps, Adam Bell, and Mitchell Long. After leading early in the second half, the Thunder’s effort fell short at the buzzer. Justin Dunn (17 points) and Graham Dowd (10 points) led the offense for the Thunder, with Graham also contributing 6 assists along the way. Paul Whitaker was challenged underneath with tall opponents, and still came up with 8 boards along with 6 points. Bryce Griffin, Zach Anderson, and Kevin Arther hustled up and down the court as the Thunder’s full court press ran the entire second half.

Sal e Pepe The Untouchables 50, The Blue Ninjas 30: The Untouchables played great, led by Austin Kasbarian and Nick Lansing. Austin Kasbarian scored 20 points and Nick Lansing added another 12. On defense, Ben Dieckman had 2 steals and was effective in the press. Chris Anesi and Marc Lasorsa dominated the boards securing rebounds giving The Untouchables second chance shots. Overall, everyone made plays that led to a great team victory. The Blue Ninjas were led on defense by some great rebounding from Matt Guinee and R.H. Clark with 6 rebounds apiece. Tyler LaCroce, David Usher, and Nick Lametto, who combined for an aggressive 10 steals, helped keep the Ninja’s in the game early. The offense was led by Chad Azzarito with 4 points, Matt Fuchs with 6 points, and Peter Clifford with 6 points. Bryan Morrissey and Matt Krasnickas scored some key baskets as well. The Blue Ninjas had a tough week against a formidable opponent, but will look to bounce back in the coming weeks.

Grade 7

Norwalk 68, Newtown 52: For Newtown the leading scorer was Jared Pearson with 13 points, Ryan Shaw had 12 points and 12 rebounds, Jamie Cocharane had 8 points and Mason Melillo had 7 points. Newtown struggled at the foul line, hitting only 9 of 24 free throws.

Trumbull 55, Newtown Gold 41: Newtown was within 5 at the half before Trumbull pulled away. James “Scrappy” Accousti had several steals off the press and led with 8 points, followed by Dillon Palumbo and Michael Doyle with 6 apiece. Colin Patrick (5 points) and Geoff Santore (4 points) played strong defense.

Greenwich 67, Newtown Gold 54: Newtown lost for the first time in three games against Greenwich. Palumbo was high man with 11 points. Tim VanderHave (5 offensive rebounds) scored 10 points, while Ethan Carpenter and James Frazzetta each tallied 7. Matt Maturo (6 points) snared 9 rebounds, followed by Palumbo (3 blocks) with 7 and Carpenter with 6. Kieran Lynch had 2 steals and 2 assists from the point, and added a basket. Joe Duero was active in the paint and score 3 points.

Grades 7-8

Thunder 50, Wildcats 25: Jaret DeVellis scored 18 points and Albert Dean added 12 to lead the Thunder to victory. All nine players scored in the game. Dave Anderson had a great all-around game with 4 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. For the Wildcats, Matt Davis led the way with 6 points. John Narducci, Tucker Kistner, and Matt Inwersen each scored 2.

Dr Curtis Beck Patriots 50, Bricklayers 37: Bryce Decker and Alex Klang combined for 30 points to lead the Patriots. James Barry controlled the boards with 8 rebounds; Kyle Mangold played strong defense. For the Bricklayers Zach Aumueller scored 20 points and Andrew Cragin played well.

Lydon Appraisals Raptors 62, Rankin Sports Vipers 43: The Vipers were led by Max Weber and Sean McCafferty who both had strong game. For the Vipers Colton Moroney and Jack Corbett combined for 24 points, while Matt Hess led the defense.

Taunton Hill Landscaping Wolverines 53, Knicks 47: The Wolverines were led by Bob Archiere with 30 points, with solid defense played by Joe Carino and Carl Whippie. For the Knicks, Shane Quimby and Nick Lotrecchiano combined for 28 points. Nate Dowd added 12. Andrew King was dominant under the boards until leaving with an injury.

United Rentals Bearcats 42, Newtown Deli and Catering Celtics 23: David Csordas led the way with 13 points, while Ryan Sullivan chipped in 8 big points. Nick Roche and Steven Brittan played solid defense. For the Celtics, Will Swain had 8 points. Matt Bouton, Matt Campbell, and Kevin Chernoff played good defense.

Razorbacks 37, Sugar Hill Auto Body Huskies 32: For the Razorbacks Harry Dupuy led the way with 16 points with Nick Genovese adding 7. Conrad Morris and Jeri Draper played good defense. For the Huskies, Charlie Huegi and Austin Huffman combined for 19 points. Danny McCarthy had 6 points and 8 rebounds and Austin LeBlanc had 6 points.

Walri 39, Magic 25: For the Walri, Colin Reilly and Tommy Rahr combined for 26 points to lead the scoring. Adam Weber and Andrew Pheiffer played well. For the Magic, Keaton McCleary had 9 points, CJ Dunn had 4 assists, and Mason Galanis, Lucas LaDestro, and Eric Cascone played strong defense.

Wolfpack 37, Bulldogs 33: Graham Hubbert led the Wolfpack with 11 points. Jimmy Craig, Joe Santella, and Callahan Brock played tight defense. For the Bulldogs, Jon Sherman had 15 points. Tim LeBlanc, Sam Duffy, and Jake Lambert played tough defense.
