Book Signing At Borders

SOUTHBURY — Local illustrator and children’s book author Rose Petruzzi will be signing copies of her newest book, Did I Tell You I Love You Today?, at the Borders bookstore in Southbury Plaza on Saturday, February 27, from 1:30 to 3 pm.

The recently released book is a reminder to take notice of the simpler things in life, and be thankful for the great blessings that surround us every day. A particularly useful and timely message when facing daily challenges, the book is refreshing for all ages, from 2 to 92.

Ms Petruzzi has illustrated six children’s books. Educated as an artist and art therapist, she has taught creative art to individuals of all ages and also conducts non-credit classes at Naugatuck Valley Community College as well as Koenig Art Emporium.

Ms Petruzzi recently donated a copy of Did I Tell You I Love You Today? to the children’s department of Woodbury Public Library. The author-illustrator grew up in Woodbury.
