"Sandy Hook Families Achieve Key Victories Against Remington Including $73M Settlement," by John Voket, published February 15. On February 15, the families of five children and four adults killed in the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School announced a "landmark victory" in their long-running case against Remington Arms, the company that made and marketed the AR-15 weapon used in the massacre. "Hawk Grapplers Have Trio Of Champs And Team Places Second In SWC," published February 13. Newtown High School’s wrestling team had three individual champions and came in second in the South-West Conference Championships, at New Milford High on February 12.
