DANBURY — Danbury Hospital’ s Center for Child and Adolescent Treatment Services (CCATS) is offering “Let Us Help You,” a series of positive skill-building programs for parents of pre-teens and teenagers, starting Thursday, March 15. The programs take place on Thursdays through May 10, from 7 to 8:30 pm at CCATS on 196 Osborne Street in Danbury.

April 12 – School Issues (Truancy, PPTs, Communicating with educators).

April 19 – Substance Abuse – Signs, symptoms, and the effects of alcohol and drug abuse.

April 26 – Positive Discipline. Consequences that fit the crime.

May 3 – Family History (Genogram). What your family’s past can say about your teen’s present difficulties.

May 10 – Raising Healthy Children in a Chaotic World.
