Mr And Mrs Kevin R. McCarthy

Kristin Anne Difilippantonio and Kevin Raymond McCarthy were joined in marriage on May 20 in St Augustine Church, Elkridge, Md., with Fr Gerry Bowen officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gary and Marie Difilippantonio of Newtown and the late Roseann Difilippantonio.

The groom is the son of Raymond and Mary Ann McCarthy of Poquoson, Va.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Adele Unger, sister of the bride, of Brookfield, was the matron of honor.

The bridesmaids were Kara Schooley, cousin of the bride, of Danville, Calif.; Jennifer Johnston of Newtown; Sara Lavan of New York City, N.Y.; and Tracy McCarthy of Baltimore, Md.

The best man was Christopher McCarthy, brother of the groom, of Baltimore.

Serving as ushers were Michael Difilippantonio, brother of the bride, of Rockville, Md.; Eric Casey of Succasunna, N.J.; Lee Dunsmore of Philadelphia, Penn.; and Todd Garing of Baltimore.

The ringbearer was Brandon Unger of Brookfield, nephew of the bride. The flower girl was Rachael McCarthy of Baltimore, niece of the groom.

The bride graduated from Newtown High School in 1989 and earned a bachelor of arts in marketing from Coastal Carolina University in Conway, S.C. She is an account manager for Barton-Cotton in Baltimore, Md.

The groom is a graduate of Penn State University in State College, Penn. He is an engineer for James Posey Associates in Baltimore.

The reception was held at Elkridge Furnace Inn, Elkridge, Md.

Following a wedding trip to the Cayman Islands, Mr and Mrs McCarthy are residing in Baltimore.
