Director Is Looking For âThe Most Happy Fellaâ

SHERMAN â The Sherman Players are looking for guys and gals ages 18 thruogh 50 who can sing and dance to audition for this yearâs musical, The Most Happy Fella, with music and lyrics by Frank Loesser.

Jeanne Glynn will be directing and the Sherman production will star Victor Costa. The musical is based on the hit Broadway musical of the same name.

Auditions will be Sunday, March 4, from 1 to 4 pm, at The Sherman Playhouse, at the junction of Routes 37 and 39 in Sherman.

Show dates are August 3-5, 10-12 and 17-18.

I have lived in Newtown for over 60 years and this is the first I have ever heard of the Rochambeau Trail. When I checked with the National Park Service and our state only Nationally Historic Site the official records of the Rochambeau Trail administrated by NPS does not travel through this property. If you are arguing it is "Near" the trail then where was the outrage when Big Y was built? The new development on 6 and 25 or even the Starbucks.
