‘New Yorker’ Cartoonist At Booth Library

The International Club of Newtown will present Dana Fradon, a noted Newtown author and New Yorker cartoonist, Saturday, March 24, at 7:30 pm, in the Olga Knoepke Memorial Room of the Cyrenius H. Booth Library.

Mr Fradon is a longtime Newtown resident and was the first cartoonist to be engaged full-time by The New Yorker. His witty comments and his distinctive drawing style have kept readers smiling for more than four decades. He is also the author of The Story of Sir Dana As Told By His Trusty Armor, Harold the Herald, The King’s Fool, and other works of fiction for young adults, awash in knights, armor, jousts, damsels, and other medieval conundrums.

The C.H. Booth Library is at 25 Main Street. Call Vicki at 426-4595 for reservations.
