‘OLD MASTER DRAWINGS AND PRINTS AT UCONN’S WILLIAM BENTON MUSEUM

STORRS, CONN. — The William Benton Museum at University of Connecticut will present “Old Master Drawings and Prints” March 13–May 6 in the Balcony Gallery.

A selection of 15 Italian and Dutch works dating from 1539 to 1690, including etchings by Annibale Carracci, Rembrandt van Rijn and Pietro Testa. On view will be saints, sinners, landscapes and portraits, images of the variety of life and experience that characterizes these artistically dominant countries from the mid-Sixteenth to the late Seventeenth Century.
