 Adopt From The Animal Center

The following cats and dogs are among those available for adoption through the Animal Center:

SPECKLES was left behind when her owner moved. She spent months living on her own until a neighbor spotted her and made the connection that she was abandoned. Speckles did not get a lot of love and attention as a kitten and she’s therefore a little weary, but Animal Center officials are certain she will thrive in a patient and loving home. Speckles loves to purr and is really glad to be inside during these cold days. She is spayed and current on vaccines.

LESLIE is a friendly and gentle cat who loves to be petted and sit on laps.  She was left behind when her owners moved and she had been living beneath the front porch of her old house. Leslie was adopted out from the Animal Center program but was returned because a family member didn’t care for her.  Leslie is spayed and current on vaccines.

MARTY is a super-friendly and loving two year old orange tabby cat for adoption. Marty is presently recovering from surgery on his paw. Marty adores other cats and gets along great with children. He is neutered and current on vaccines.

BLACK JACK is a mellow, sweet, and affectionate kitty for adoption. Clearly once belonging to a family, Black Jack spent the last six months on his own outside. Black Jack would be a perfect companion for a person or family that will give him the attention and love he deserves in a quiet home. He is neutered and current on vaccines.

OSCAR is a 14 week old male beagle/hound mix. He’s friendly, neutered, and up to date on vaccines.

KAHLUA is a female Shepherd mix, approximately 14 weeks old. She has a mellow temperament but is still playful and she’s very smart. She gets along with everyone. Kahlua is spayed and current on vaccines.

STONE is a 3 year old Border Collie mix who was pulled just minutes from being euthanized. Stone would do best in a home with older children and adults. He is playful and very obedient. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. The Animal Center asks that you consider opening your home to an older dog’

SAM is a male retriever/lab mix who adores attention. Sam is neutered and current on vaccines.

ASPEN is a very friendly, 7 month old  Jack Russell terrier /lab mix. Her tail is always wagging and she is a very happy dog. She is full grown at approximately 60 pounds, spayed, and current on vaccines.

The Animal  Center is an all volunteer, non-profit animal welfare charity. Programs include: A foster-based, no-kill rescue and adoption program for homeless and injured cats and kittens; a Feral Cat Assistance Program that  provides spay/neuter and vaccination assistance to caregivers of  free-roaming, unowned cats in the community; and a dog rescue program that saves adoptable dogs scheduled for euthanasia. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity and relies heavily on the support of the public and generous volunteers.
