Yale-New Haven Hospital Launches Online Nutrition Forum

Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) announced the launch of an online bulletin board designed to answer your questions about nutrition — “Ask the Expert: Nutrition Forum.”

The forum is moderated by Lisa Tartamella-Kimmel, a registered dietitian at YNHH. Ms Tartamella-Kimmel specializes in weight management and behavior modification and is a lecturer on nutrition and fitness.

Ms Tartamella-Kimmel and two other registered dietitians from Yale-New Haven’s Nutrition Clinic are available to address and answer questions about weight management, popular diets, children’s nutrition, gastric bypass, nutrition and pregnancy, heart healthy diets, and special diets for patients.

Consumers are invited to submit questions — anonymously if they like — to the Nutrition Forum on the hospital’s website, www.ynhh.org. Look for “Ask the Expert” in the right-hand column and click on Nutrition Forum. All questions submitted on the forum are posted, along with the answer received.
