Nell A. Kabusk

Nell A. Kabusk, 72, of Newtown, beloved wife of Paul C. Kabusk, Sr, died February 22, at Danbury Hospital. She was born in Southport to Anna (Yranski) and Clarence Galaske and lived in Fairfield until moving to Newtown 25 years ago.

Mrs Kabusk was a graduate of Roger Ludlowe High School, Class of 1955. She was employed in the offices of Sikorsky Aircraft and later worked at Pepperidge Farm.

She spent countless hours going to tag sales and treasure hunting at various shops with her cherished friends.

In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by two sons, Paul C. Kabusk, Jr, of Danbury and Thomas L. Kabusk of Fairfax, Vt.; three daughters, Cynthia D. Knauf and her husband, Gary, of Shelton, Sylvia A. Kabusk of South Burlington, Vt., and Michelle L. Kabusk of Providence, R.I.; a brother, Clarence “Sonny” Galaske of Monroe; a sister, Sylvia Battoe of Sun City, Ariz.; five grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Teddy and Larry Galaske, predeceased her.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated March 2 in St Rose Church in Newtown. Burial will be private.

Arrangements by the Fairfield Funeral Home of Edmund W. Dougiello, 36 South Pine Creek Road.
