Newtown High School's wrestling team was runner-up in the New England Regional Championships, in Providence, RI, March 4-5. Leading the way for the Nighthawks was 182 pound weight division grappler Anthony Falbo who won his bracket.The Bee's webpage and in the March 11 print edition of the paper for more coverage of Newtown's success.

Falbo also captured South-West Conference, state class LL, and state open titles in an undefeated campaign.
