Joseph             Jasmin, Sr

Joseph Jasmin, Sr, 73, of Great Plain Road, Danbury, died March 4 in Florida. He was the devoted husband of Isabel (Short) Jasmin.

He was born in Vermont June 3, 1929, son of the late Mildred Jasmin. He owned and operated Jasmin Company for 30 years.

He leaves behind his loving children, Jacqueline Rine and her fiancé, Peter Bearce, of Sandy Hook, Joseph Jasmin, Jr, “Jazz” and his wife, Kathy, of Brookfield, Linda Moran and her husband, Michael, of Florida, Cheryl Caron and her husband, Louis, of Brookfield, and Cindi Aragi and her husband, Alan, of Brookfield. He is also survived by his loving and devoted grandchildren, Heather Rine and Nicole and Joseph Aragi; and his sister, Beverly Novella, and his brother, Eugene Jasmin, both of Danbury. He will be sadly missed by his family.

Joseph was a most caring and wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. His heart held so much love for his family.

Friends may call Friday, March 7, between 6 and 7:30 pm, at the Cornell Memorial Home, 247 White Street, Danbury. A memorial service will be celebrated at 7:30 pm with Pastor Leo McIlrath officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Joseph Jasmin, Sr, to the charity of one’s choice.
