Business: Two Hounds Public House

Address: 43 South Main Street

Owner: James Molina

What is your business background? “We used to own Rosewood up the street, and it was a small market and deli inside Butcher’s Best. We did that for about a year but it was just a small space and we weren’t able to do the kind of community interaction and events we were looking for.”

What is your business’ focus? “Our focus really is a traditional English public house style where we are less of a bar and more of a community space. We’re really trying to … help unite the community and kind of provide a space where people can come and … have events and just gather and just kind of hang out and relax … The whole goal was really designed specifically to allow people to come in and hang out and have a good time without feeling rushed … We have our full bakery still, and, as we were asked to, we upgraded our coffee shop … Anything you can get at Starbucks, you can get here.”

What is something important to you that readers should know about your business? “We’re [a] relaxed kind of environment. We do do community events and catering and stuff, but really … the space is available for those who want to have game nights or gathering[s].”

Hours: 6 am-10 pm Monday-Thursday, 6 am-2 am Friday and Saturday, 10 am-2 pm Sunday.
