With deep sadness the family of Nonnie Low, a former resident of Newtown, Connecticut, announces her passing on March 9, 2023, in West Palm Beach, Fla. She was 82.

She is survived by her four children: Ellen, Adrienne, Vincent, and Daniel; four grandchildren: Devin, Kira, Remy, and Patrick; husband, Joseph Williams; and ex-husband, Eng Chye Low.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 in Florida.

Nonnie lived a full, eventful life. She was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, during World War II. She flourished in her early years, counting bank teller, beauty queen, wife, mother, and sister as her sources of pride. In her later years in Connecticut and Florida, she added ballroom dance instructor, grandmother, and rehabilitation nurse as her many roles during her long life.

Nonnie brought a joy of life, adventure, and laughter to those around her. She always inspired her children to reach for the stars and give back to the community. She was particularly dedicated to sharing her love of Malaysia and travel. She will be missed by her family and friends worldwide.

A memorial service will be held at United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches, 900 Brandywine Road, West Palm Beach FL 33409, on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from 9 am to noon.
