American Legion Kids Walk To Benefit Children’s Medical Center

The American Legion District 3 is sponsoring a Kids Walk to benefit the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center on Saturday, April 24, beginning at 10 am at Great Hollow Lake Pavilion in Monroe. American Legion Post 202 Newtown and Brookfield will be working in concert with host Monroe Post 176.

Walk as an individual or as a team, donate by cash or check. Donations by check should be made out to “CT Children’s Medical Center.” Put “Post 202” in the memo line and mail it to Post Commander Victor Yanosy, 107 Cutler’s Farm Road, Monroe CT 06468.

If you plan to walk that day, you can bring your check with you and turn it in at the registration desk at the pavilion. By town ordinance, no dogs are allowed.

The Connecticut Children’s Medical Center provides specialty care for infants to young adults and athletes. There are locations in Shelton, Danbury, Hartford, Farmington, and Glastonbury. Walk-in and same-day appointments available in Danbury, Hartford, Farmington, and Glastonbury.
