Life-Saving Information Available During Alcohol Awareness Month

WATERTOWN — All-Star Driver, a Connecticut driver education enterprise that provides services in Newtown, is offering hands-on demonstrations on the dangers of impaired driving to schools, parent groups, and local prevention organizations.

The company is providing these presentations, free of charge, in an effort to raise awareness on the dangers of underage drinking during the month of April, Alcohol Awareness Month.

“As a Connecticut-based, family-run company, it is part of our mission to keep parents informed and teens safe,” said Brandon Dufour, general manager, All-Star Driver. “We hope to partner with schools, PTAs, and prevention organizations across the state through this effort.”

Fatal Vision is a product of Innocorp, Ltd and is a training tool used to vividly demonstrate the concept of impairment and the dangers of impaired driving. The Fatal Vision Goggles distort vision and cause behaviors that are similar to behaviors exhibited by someone under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
