Waldorf School Slates Annual Auction

Housatonic Valley Waldorf School will hold its 6th Annual Auction Friday, April 9, at 6:30 pm, at the Center for New Media and the Arts in Bethel, 186 Greenwood Avenue.

The evening will include Latin food, music, and fun. The center will be transformed into a Latin-inspired atmosphere complete with a display of tropical and exotic plants provided by Newtown’s Lexington Gardens and the sounds of local Brazilian musician Arildo de Souza.

Attendees will have the opportunity to bid on auction items, including a trip to Costa Rica donated by the Marriott San Jose and Monte Verde Cloud Forest, a getaway to Brazil, tickets to the theater and sporting events, children’s gifts, sport collectibles, and children’s art.

Housatonic Valley Waldorf School is on a four-acre campus at 40 Dodgingtown Road, serving children from birth to 18 years old from 30 surrounding communities. For more information on the auction or the school call 203-364-1113.
