Workshop For Adults Who Have Lost An Adult Sibling

DANBURY — The death of a sibling is a tragedy for the entire family, not just for parents. To help support the special grief experienced by siblings, Healing Hearts will offer a free workshop “When You Have Lost an Adult Sibling” to be held on Wednesday, April 7, from 7 to 8:30 pm .

The workshop will take place at The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families at 73 Stadley Rough Road. Anyone who has lost a sibling as an adult, may attend this workshop which will provide a venue for discussing grief. Participants will learn insight and learn strategies to help cope with their loss.

The workshop facilitator is Marita Repole, EdD, who is a psychologist for Danbury Public Schools and has extensive experience in assessment and counseling. The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families, a program of Regional Hospice, offers numerous support groups, workshops, and programs to the public free of cost throughout the year.
