SENIOR GIRLS

Quarter-Finals

 

PURPLE HAZE 39, GOLDENEYE 31: Anna Lewis and Nichole Hamilton led the Purple Haze to a victory over Goldeneye. For Goldeneye, Carrie Young scored nine points, Jamie Lindquist had five assists and Ashley Smarella had 12 rebounds.

THUGS 58, BAD NEWS BEARS 28: Caitlin Martin scored 16 points and Kate Bouteiller added 13 to lead the Thugs to the win. Elana Tenenbaum led the defense while Jenny Mueller had 16 rebounds. For the Bears, Janie Zingoni scored six points while Cathy Byrne, Lorraine Narel, Alli Smith, Amanda Maldonado and Caitlin Collier had solid games.

Semi-Finals

 

RUFF RIDERS 46, PURPLE HAZE 34: Dana Martenson canned 11 points and Whitney Blanchard pulled down 11 rebounds to lead the Ruff Riders past the Haze and into the league finals. Laura Howard had six assists and Lindsay Moore made five steals. Moore and Blanchard also chipped in with eight points apiece. For the Haze, Anna Lewis dropped in 13 points as Danielle Saputo dished off eight assists and Jessica Ward made seven steals. Katie Miller and Saputo combined for 16 points.

PINK POWER 40, THUGS 39: After a slow start, Pink Power came back to nip the Thugs and reach the league finals. Colleen Davis scored 10 points while Barry, Wickson, Willing and Critelli all added six points apiece. For the Thugs, Caitlin Martin scored 11 points and Michelle Nelson added 10. Kate Bouteiller dished off eight assists while Kerin Sovern made four steals and Jenny Mueller had eight rebounds.

SENIOR BOYS

Playoffs

 

TARHEELS 56, SHAOLIN 45: Matt McCarthy scored 20 points and Jason Petrasanta pulled down 15 rebounds to lead the Tarheels to the win. Brian Rodden dished off six assists and Tom O’Toole had seven steals. For Shaolin, Chris Arnold and Jared Nathanson combined for 22 poinds while Geoff Brennan had 10 rebounds. John Dietter paced the defense.

T-BLAZERS 68, ROUGH RIDERS 40: No data available.

VIOLATORS 57, YANKEES 56: Jeff Shpunt canned 15 points in a losing effort for the Yankees. John Toi and Ryan Bolmer had solid games.

LAKERS 77, STRIKERS 55: Mike Terry scored 16 points and Mike Sciaretto added 13 to lead the Lakers to the win. Brad Bernstein had a great floor games. For the Strikers, Bryan Raymond and Dan Raymond combined for 31 points.
