Baird Sherman Robinson

Baird Sherman Robinson, 78, died April 2, in New Milford. He was born December 28, 1933, in New Haven, to Rosemary and Charles Robinson of Newtown.

Originally from Newtown, Mr Robinson served in the US Army from 1953 to 1955, as a private second class. He lived in New York, Los Angeles, and New Milford. He was an avid musician, singer, and dancer.

His wife, Virginia; son Charles; stepdaughter Cheryl and her husband Mark; and three grandchildren survive Mr Robinson. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margery, and his sister Julie.

A memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church, Newtown, at 2 pm, Saturday, April 14.
