State Police Union Bashes ‘Ticket Blitz’

EAST HARTFORD (AP) — Leaders of the Connecticut State Police Union this week are bashing what they’re calling ticket-writing quotas by management and revealed the location in Danielson of their next increased traffic enforcement effort on April 5.

The state’s commissioner of emergency services and public safety, Reuben Bradford, determined this week that there was no illegal quota system in place, after Governor Dannel P. Malloy asked him to review the matter.
