Masonicare To Offer Lunch & Learn Program On Dental Care

On Thursday, April 17, at Masonicare at Newtown, Robert LaRosa, DDS, and Michele Federico will present a Lunch & Learn program titled “Dental Care & Concerns as You Age.”

Dr LaRosa and Ms Federico will discuss many dental care issues that are common with aging, such as preventive oral hygiene, periodontal disease, medication-related dry mouth, tooth loss and dentures, and the effects of dental health on the body.

Dr LaRosa attended St John’s University on Long Island and Georgetown University of Dentistry in Washington, DC. He maintains a private practice in Woodbury. Ms Federico is a graduate of the University of Bridgeport and Fones School of Dental Hygiene.

He and Ms Federico are experienced in geriatric dental care and also provide these services for residents onsite at Masonicare at Newtown.

The free program will begin at 11:30 am and will be followed by a complimentary lunch. Reservations are required, so call the Masonicare HelpLine at 888-679-9997 by Friday, April 11, to reserve a space.

The presentation will be held at Masonicare at Newtown, 139 Toddy Hill Road.
