Edmond Town Hall Announces Drive-In Schedule
Edmond Town Hall’s popular drive-in theater schedule has been released online at edmondtownhall.org. The lot, 45 Main Street, opens about an hour and a half before the movie starts, and movies begin just after dusk. Check social media pages for Edmond Town Hall for specific start times. Carloads are $20, tailgating is welcome, and drive-in credits will be issued for future movies in case of rain. Cancellations will be posted by 6 pm.
The annual summer event kicks off on June 12 with the 1996 R-rated Scream. The classic horror film stars David Arquette, Neve Campbell, and Courteney Cox, et al.
One week later, 1997 comedy action Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery will be shown. The PG-13 film stars Mike Myers, Elizabeth Hurley, and Seth Green, et al.
Horror flicks return to the big screen on June 26 with the 1984 R-rated A Nightmare on Elm Street, starring Heather Langenkamp, John Saxon, and Ronee Blakley, et al.
July 4th weekend kicks off with a screening of Jaws on July 3. This is a horror adventure film for the whole family, as it is rated PG and stars Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss, and Robert Shaw, et al.
The 1996 action/adventure film Twister will be shown on July 10. This PG-13 movie stars Helen Hunt, Bill Paxton, and Cary Elwes, et al.
Another comedy movie for the adult crowd, National Lampoon’s Vacation, will be shown on July 24. This one is rated R, and stars Chevy Chase, Beverly D’Angelo, and Randy Quaid, et al.
The Conjuring: Last Rites will play on August 14. This 2025 R-rated horror film stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga, et al.
A musical comedy that is well-known and well-loved will make its August 21 debut. The PG-13 Mamma Mia! starring Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, and Colin Firth, et al, will be a hit for most of the family.
September 4 will feature the 2025 PG adventure fantasy film How to Train Your Dragon, featuring Mason Thames, Nico Parker, and Gerard Butler.
The 2026 Edmond Town Hall Drive-In season will conclude on September 11 with a screening of the 1985 PG family adventure film The Goonies. The film stars Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, and Jeff Cohen, et al.
