Pollack To Discuss ‘Real Boys’

FAIRFIELD — Fairfield Country Day School will welcome Dr William S. Pollack, the author of Real Boys – Rescuing Our Sons from the Myths of Boyhood, on Thursday, May 11, at 7:30 pm. The public is invited, admission is free, and no reservations are required.

Copies of Real Boys will be available for purchase and a book signing will take place after Dr Pollack has finished answering questions from the audience.

Dr Pollack is a nationally known expert in the areas of male emotional development, including violence and depression, gender studies, and parenting. He writes and speaks about the challenges and conventional expectations about manhood and masculinity. He gives parents, educators, and communities practical advice about how to raise boys to be happy and successful men.
