Swinging Into The Millennium

WATERBURY — St. Margaret’s-McTernan School will be hosting “Swinging into the Millennium,” a swing concert and dance demonstration on Saturday, May 6, from 2 to 4 pm, in the school’s Performing Arts Center.

The cabaret-style event will feature the talent of Jim Santucci, an instrumental music teacher, and Harold Zinno’s 16-piece orchestra with the vocals of Rob Zappulla. They will be performing music by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Benny Goodman, Buddy Rich, Frank Sinatra and other musical greats from the Big Band and swing eras. Current students and alumni will also be performing with bands.

Refreshments will be served during the performance and the event is open to the public. Tickets will be sold at the door for $10 per person.
