Connecticut Broadway Stage Company is holding open auditions this weekend for a July production of “Summer Follies 2014: Where Newtown Meets Broadway.”

Ages 5 to 18  are encouraged to audition and be a part of a musical adventure this summer. Young performers will sing, dance and act in some of Broadway’s biggest hits.

All participation requires a tuition fee, which has yet to be set. Scholarships may be available.

Auditions will be held at the CTBSC studio, 316 South Main Street in Newtown. Audition appointments for Saturday are available between 2 and 5 pm, and on Sunday between 6 and 10 pm.

Everyone will be cast. Auditions are for placement and experience; no one will be cut from the show.

All participants will receive professional instruction in voice, dance and acting while preparing for performances.
