Arts & Crafters Invited

SOUTHBURY — Pomperaug Woods, an independent retirement community, is accepting applications for artists and crafters to exhibit and sale at the first Senior Art Show and 20th Anniversary Celebration. The theme for the weekend festivities is “Art is Here and Everywhere.”

This celebration of the arts will take place on Saturday, June 7, from 1 to 4 pm, on the grounds of Pomperaug Woods, 80 Heritage Road.

Original handmade artwork will be accepted. Vendors will be responsible for providing their own 10 by 10-foot exhibitor tent. Along with the senior art exhibit, the afternoon will feature a variety of entertainment throughout the day by community organizations.
